Végé-burger au PVT & avoine / TVP & Oat Veggie Burgers

Ces végé-burgers au PVT et avoine sont rapides à préparer (10 minutes de préparation et 20 minutes d’attente), rapides à cuire, et si savoureux. Ils cuisent sur le BBQ sans aucun souci car ils se tiennent super bien ensemble et, à base de PVT (protéines végétales texturées), ils constituent une bonne source de protéines!

Où trouver de la PVT? C’est disponible, en vrac, au Bulk Barn ou au Silo à Sherbrooke (et dans quelques épiceries).

1 tasse de protéines végétales texturées (250 ml)

1/4 tasse de flocons d’avoine (60 ml)

1/2 c. à thé d’origan séché (2,5 ml)

1/2 c. à thé de basilic séché (2,5 ml)

1/2 c. à thé de persil séché (2,5 ml)

1/2 c. à thé de poudre d’oignon (2,5 ml)

1/2 c. à thé de poudre d’ail (2,5 ml)

1/4 c. à thé de moutarde en poudre (1,25 ml)

3/4 tasse d’eau bouillante (175 ml)

2 c. à soupe de ketchup (30 ml)

1 c. à soupe de sauce soya (15 ml)

1 c. à soupe de beurre d’arachide (15 ml)

1/4 tasse de farine de blé entier (60 ml)

1 c. à soupe de levure alimentaire (15 ml)

Instructions

  1. Dans un bol, mélanger la PVT, l’avoine et les assaisonnements ensemble. Verser l’eau bouillante et mélanger à nouveau.
  2. Ajouter le ketchup, la sauce soya, et le beurre d’arachide au mélange, brasser et laisser reposer 20 minutes.
  3. Ajouter la farine et la levure alimentaire et mélanger une dernière fois.
  4. Avec les mains, façonner 4 boulettes de burger.
  5. Faire cuire sur le BBQ ou bien dans une poêle à feu moyen-vif (dans un peu d’huile de pépins de raisins)

Ingrédients


1 cup of textured vegetable protein (250 ml)

1/4 cup of rolled oats (60 ml)

1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano (2,5 ml)

1/2 teaspoon of dried basil (2,5 ml)

1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley (2,5 ml)

1/2 teaspoon of onion powder (2,5 ml)

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder (2,5 ml)

1/4 teaspoon of dried mustard powder (1,25 ml)

3/4 cup of boiling water (175 ml)

2 tablespoons of ketchup (30 ml)

1 tablespoon of soy sauce (15 ml)

1 tablespoon of peanut butter (15 ml)

1/4 cup of whole wheat flour (60 ml)

1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast (15 ml)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the TVP, the oats and the seasonings. Add the boiling water and mix again.
  2. Add the ketchup, soy sauce, and peanut butter to the mix and let sit for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the flour and nutritional yeast and mix again.
  4. With your hands, make 4 burger patties.
  5. Cook on the BBQ or in a frying pan over medium-high heat (in a little grapeseed oil).

  1. Est-ce que la préparation de végé-burger peut se congeler sans cuisson ?

    1. Oui, absolument! Mais, avant la cuisson, c’est mieux de s’assurer de dégeler la galette afin que la cuisson soient uniforme.
